For a while now I have been trying to do a windows update and when I get to the site it says this website is controlled by ActiveX Than when I click on the Express one, it doesn't do anything.
I know before I was also have trouble with my "Paint" program it hasn't been working for a long time now too.

What shall I do? Do you need m to post a HiJackThis?

Some computers use a folder called Windows and others WINNT, there is no differance execpt in the name. Do what he said for the WindowsUpdate.log that you found in C:\WINNT
