Hi
I decided to re-format my computer from windows xp and take it back to windows 98 because I felt that xp slowed it down some. It's not a new computer. Anyway I couldn't seem to format easily the xp and eventually I thought I'd managed it. However, I now find that at the ms dos prompt I can't access my cd drive because all I seem to see is D: is now an MS-Ramdrive and the files in this are not recognisable to me and mostly I can't now load windows 98 or anything for that matter. HELP!

How did you reformat
you do know that with a reformat you loose everything
I assume you have a 98 cd is this 98 or 98se
do you have a 98 boot disk?
