Hey everyone, i know there have been a bunch of these elitebar topics be4 but i tried everything they said and nothing worked for me so i decided to post my own log and see if u guys could figure it out. thx!

Well it doesn't look like you waited very long either time you have posted (not even 20 minutes the first time). We have alot to do and usually try to start with the oldest first and move up to the newest, and sometimes a post does slip through the cracks. Just have a little more patience and we will get back to you.

Boot into safe mode and run HijackThis there.

Now, first delete:
C:\WINDOWS\EliteToolBar <= entire folder
C:\windows\system32\kalvxxb32.exe
C:\Program Files\Windows ServeAd <= entire folder
C:\Program Files\Windows AdService <= entire folder

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

After cleaning boot normally and copy the text in bold below to Notepad, and save in a location of your choice as elitefix.reg (Set filetype to 'all files')

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [Configuration Loader] svccfg.exe

Reboot and check if it stays away.
Elitebar looks to be gone.
