I have been having problems connecting or staying connected to the internet.Either it will not open or randomly shuts down the connection. It tells me loss of connection and repair says it is unable to find Ip address. After extensive chats with CS on my cable network- I have replaced modems and now they tell me it is a problem with windows? Can someone help me?

Also when doing a virus scan it tells me it can not scan 12 files?

The Malware Team will deal with this

Please go here:

Run all the programmes as advised then post a current Hijack This Log in a new topic in the Malware Forum

If you are unable to run any of the programmes, ask for advice in the Malware Forum

You can download Winsock Fix for the connection

The inability to scan with the anti virus programme could be malware related
