Computer is just asking crazy in general and would appreciate a HJT log check. Had Ewido come up with hundreds of problems, and the virus scan is not looking good either.

I have went through and done everything as listed in the before you post thread.

If you could just see if you can analyze any problems in my HJT log I would greatly appreciate it!

Sorry about the delay... it's very busy here !

Well, Ewido seems to have done a good job. Let's clean up what we see. First, launch Ewido and update it please ; don't run it yet.

Next, please create a permanent folder for HijackThis! (C:\Program Files\HJT >> for example), then move the tool (hijackthis.exe) in there, so that backups created will be secured (not cluttering your Desktop). Next, make sure you can view all hidden files by following instructions Here.

Better print these out, or copy them to NotePad for reading while in Safe Mode. Reboot into Safe Mode : restart the computer and immediately start tapping the F8 key until a menu with boot options appears. Using the keyboard arrows, select "Safe Mode" and hit "Enter". OK the prompts, and select your regular account (not Administrator).

Locate and delete this file :

Do a "Scan only" with HijackThis!, close all other open programs/windows, put checks next to these lines and press "Fix checked" :

Close HijackThis! Next, run Ewido again.

• Click on the Scanner button in the left menu, then click on the Start button. This scan can take quite a while to run, so time to go get a drink and a snack....
• If ewido finds anything, it will pop up a notification. You can select "clean" and check the boxes "Perform action with all infections" and "Create encrypted backup" before clicking on OK.
• When the scan finishes, click on "Save Report". This will create a text file. Make sure you know where to find this file again.

Reboot once Ewido has completed. Please do an online virus scan with Panda ActiveScan Here. You need to use Internet Explorer for this scan.

• Once you get to the Panda site, scroll down a bit and click on Scan your PC
• A new window will appear; click on Check Now!
• A new window will appear; fill in the boxes (Country, State, email addy)
• Click on Scan Now! >
  If you have never used ActiveScan before, you will be prompted to install an ActiveX control (asinst.cab) : click on Install. Panda will install the component, and then install the latest signature files.
• From "Select a device to scan...", choose "My Computer"
• Allow the scan to run. It'll take a while.
• When complete, click on "See Report", and then on "Save report"; save it to a convenient location.
• I will need you to post that report in your next reply; simply open the text file, then copy/paste the content here.

Reboot yet again after the Panda scan. Scan with HijackThis!, save the newest logfile, then post it here, along with the Ewido and ActiveScan reports. Thanks !
