Cant Change color quality to 32 bit - no option

just set up my new lcd .. now using ATI wonder pro tv tuner... set it up .. says needs to run iwith 32 bit color .. but doesn;t have that option when I go to DISPLAY OPTIONSto change it ..

not sure why.. running..

666 mhz 256 ram
XP service pack 2 ...

won't allow me to use tv tuner in 24 bit color but cant change it .. i have changed resolution from 680 to 1024 .. and all options but still not offered the 32 bit option.. why is that?

any help?
