pls can someone tell me how to completely format windows...i mean erase every single file on the computer and then reinstall windows...i have the windows xp home edition cd with me...

Boot from the cd and choose the long format when prompted.

Why do you what to do that, are there any problems you are haveing?

Yes, i was having some problems with my computer about which i had already posted but couldn't figure out resolutions. Recently i found out it was hardware failure so i didn't need to format.
