I have been trying to remove all the ad software and I had a bout of Desktop Hijack. I think I have removed all the viruses and adware since I have run scans of Norton AntiVirus Corporate over several days and come up clean, MS AntiSpyware Beta (although this finds the ShutterLTD in my registry), and SPYBOT S&D. I have tried changing the permissions on the ShutterLTD file and its subfolders PSGaurd as detailed in an earlier post but still can't delete it. How do I finally delete this registry folder and it's subfolders?

I had to go to safeboot to even open the regedit command although this seems to be working now.

I also have another problem when I boot up, I get a "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." box. If I take no action, I can't use the computer as I can't access any icons or the start bar, I just get the old hourglass. But if I click it off, the screen recycles, I get the same error box, but the computer works albeit a bit slow.

Any ideas?

Please Click here!, and follow the recommendations in the guide.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and reply here with your log.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
