I have a problem. I think my computer may be infected with alot of spywware. I have run both Spybot search and destroy as well as Adaware and neither programs have gotten rid of it. My PC has slowed down Severely. I am using Windows ME as well.

Sometimes when ive run numerous programs and my computer is about to freeze i see a little window bar above the start menue that says "STATIC" I'm not sure how to get rid of it.

And also, sometimes when ive left the computer on for awhile there will be numerous pop ups that say something like "kernel32" or something and as i close it another one appears. How do i prevent this?
