My computer is dying for some reason. It keeps freezing for about a minute or so and then allows me to do stuff. And even then, I can only have one or two things opened at a time.
When I open msn messenger, my internet explorer freezes.
But today my computer just turned really slow all of a sudden.
Maybe I have a virus!
I remember it used to tell me that I was low in virtual memory but I think I kicked that bubble.
It's annoying to have my windows task manager always up to check if somethings eating at my computer. Oh, my taskbar just disappeared. Followed by a half a minute freeze.
Anyways.

When I ran the KillVundo.bat, after I put the C:\WINDOWS\system32\noqru.*
it came up with something like Cannot find - C:\WINDOWS\system32\noqru.*
and then carried on.

1. Boot into safemode to do this keep tapping F8 on your keyboard while your PC is starting up you will get a menu select safemode.

I deleted most of the stuff, some hidden files.
I couldn't find C:\WINDOWS\DOWNLOADED PROGRAM FILES\dm.inf or C:\WINDOWS\system32\mllif.dll
the rest I deleted.

1. Click here to download Pocket Killbox by Option^Explicit.

2. Double-click on Killbox.exe to run Killbox. Place the following lines (complete paths) in bold in the "Full Path of File to Delete" box in Killbox, and click the red button with the white X on it after each. Keep track of any files it tells you either could not be found or could not be deleted, as you'll need those later:

C:\WINDOWS\DOWNLOADED PROGRAM FILES\dm.inf
C:\WINDOWS\system32\mllif.dll

For the files that it either couldn't find or couldn't delete, in the killbox again this time, put a mark next to "Delete on Reboot". Copy and paste each file into the file name box, then click the red button with the X after each. It will ask you if you want to reboot each time you click it, answer NO until after you've pasted the last file name, at which time you should answer Yes.

If you receive a message such as: "Component 'MsComCtl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." when trying to run TheKillbox, click here to download and run missingfilesetup.exe. Then try TheKillbox again.

3. Run active scan again and post the log it makes.
