Hi. Word keeps crashing on me when I cut and paste, particularly if I use the "keep text only" option. I've run all spyware, malware, etc., programs recommended in the forum. I've tried locating normal.dot to delete it but cannot find it, despite looking in hidden files.

Anyone else have this problem or have suggestions?

If you have Norton Anti Virus, click options then remove tick from office plug in

Did you mean that normal.dot will be revealed? It's hidden now. . . I'm trying your suggestion. Thanks for responding. .

The problem with including hidden and system files is you get to see all the files, and this opens up the possibility of deleting a necessary one, however, you need to so this for normal.dot

If you Anti Virus has an office plug in, then turning this part off may help things
