Well, im having a problem with these 2 viruses in particular, theres no doubt more of them on here aswell and ive noticed a large slowdown in both my general PC processes and when using the internet, ive used many programs ranging from AVG to Spybot but the persistant little things keep on reappearing. My PC now seems to be behaving a lot more like it should thanks a bunch friend, although my internet is still slower than it should be. Its a wireless Belkin 54g connection and the signal strength jumps from high to medium to low and vice versa more or less all the time. So im guessing this could be due to ISP side problems ?

Let us clean up your PC a little bit.

Click on Start ---> Run. Type in

cmd

and hit enter,

In the window which opens type in - ipconfig /flushdns - Close the window after a confirmation that dns was successfully flushed.

Uninstall Ewido as it is a trial product and the trial period will expire shortly. Conflicts can arise between multiple anti-virus programs and can severely hamper the performance of the PC.

Run Hijack This and click on scan. The following items need to be fixed -

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [AlcxMonitor] ALCXMNTR.EXE
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MsnMsgr] "C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\MsnMsgr.Exe" /background

Close all windows other than Hijack This. Check the boxes next to above items and click on Fix checked.

This will not delete the programs from your PC. This will only disable the programs from running at Start up and result in a faster PC. You can always run the programs manually by using the respective exe files or the shortcuts.

After this, please visit Windows security and critical updates and get all the updates and patches and install them on your PC.

Since your PC is currently clean, create a system restore point. A system restore would enable you to revert to the settings on the PC when the restore point was created. It is also a good idea to flush all earlier system restore points which may be containing infected files.

A. Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

B. Restart your computer.

C. Turn ON System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

System Restore will now be active again.

Reboot the PC and post a fresh HJT log.

Please go to - http://www.tech-foru...opic/29806.html.

Download the appropriate file for your version of Windows. Run it.

Reboot the PC.

Now try flushing DNS.

Let me know how it goes.

i ran it, unzipped it to where it wanted to, rebooted then tried to use the cmd command

Edit- ah nm i used the ipconfig /flushdns command from the exe i download and it said it dns had been flushed, i was still trying to access it from run.

The net seems a little faster aswell, but still seems to be jumpy with its connection, for example all of a sudden in a game my ping will skyrocket, then quickly return to normal a minute or two later

Download Killbox from here to your desktop.
Double-click killbox.exe
Click on Tools > Delete Temp Files and click ok.
Select the option "Delete on reboot".
Now highlight and 'copy' (Ctrl + C) the entire list of filepaths below:

C:\Program Files\MsConfigs\MsConfigs.exe
C:\Windows\system32\p2pnetwork.exe
C:\Windows\system32\CMD.COM
C:\Windows\system32\netstat.com
C:\Windows\system32\ping.com
C:\Windows\system32\regedit.com
C:\Windows\system32\tasklist.com
C:\Windows\system32\taskkill.com
C:\Windows\system32\taskmgr.com
C:\Windows\system32\tracert.com
C:\Windows\system32\bt.exe
C:\Windows\system32\z.tmp
C:\Windows\system32\bszip.dll

Click 'File' on the killbox menu at the top and choose 'Paste from clipboard'

The entire list should now be in the "Full Path of File to Delete" field.
To check, click on the dropdown-arrow next to that field.
If you expand it, these lines should all be there.

Then press the red button with a white X in it.
Killbox will tell you that all listed files will be deleted on next reboot, click YES
When it asks if you would like to Reboot now, click YES
If you get a "PendingFileRenameOperations Registry Data has been Removed by External Process!" message then just restart manually.

After the PC reboots, please visit Panda and do an online scan. Save the scan report.

Run Hijack This and post a fresh HJT log along with Panda scan report.

PS: After i made this post my ping SKYROCKETED to 250 then settled back down to 70 in a game (which still causes choppy gaming), also, my brother uses aa wireless card, yet his packets sent and recieved seem hugely larger than mine

I wasnt sure how to save a panda report but it found NOTHING at all on my local disks, i tried to scan my computer but the page gave an error, so i scanned local disks and everything was clean.

Heres the HJT log

Hi,

Your logs are clean.

Is the high pinging due to the game that you are playing ???

Maybe you can install a firewall - ZoneAlarm
and check what program / file is causing the pinging !!!

The firewall is freeware for personal use.
