Ok its installed and set up, the prgrams that are open include 2 generic host win 32 services according to the top of the zone alarm screen

Im still uber jumpy though, i cant understand why all of a sudden my wireless card seems to hate its connection

Can you check the logs of the firewall and let me know which programs are accessing internet ???

If there is any unusual activity then we can address it.

im not sure how to access the logs, i did however bring my router closer to the pc and it sped up a bit. But my brothers is still owning mine in speed, and thats with laptop wireless
