Click start then run, type services.msc thenpress enter, look through the list for print spooler, double click it then press start, then set the start up type to automatic, press OK and then apply

Thanks Keith I found another posting that GeneralAres answered,'How to clean up printers" and it worked. I fixed the problem. Thanks for your help also. Deb
