is there anyway to download the boot disk or get them off my hard drive? I've tried to load the ones from bootdisk.com and they don't work. windows 2000 pro.

Have you checked in Setup to see that the boot order is set to the device you are trying to use? Another source of boot disks is www.allbootdisks.com
