Ok, so I've read through a few topics and found a couple of files on my computer that other people have been having problems with. When I restarted my computer (after having some problems) a message popped up asking if I wanted to run this lockx.exe file. Well I clicked cancel, because I didn't know what it was and started to research it on the internet. I also found a file called etb which caught my curiosity and in that file I found pokapoka which I recall seeing before.
I ran spybot and ad-aware and found some things, deleted them and restarted my computer. Another weird thing happened, as I was running my scans the computer kept going to the screensaver like every minute and starting back at the welcome screen, luckily I have the smarts to figure out how to fix that by going into the control panel and changing that manually. What ever is in my computer messing it up it also did that. Still however, my background is not the same as it was yesterday, all my icons on the desktop are rearranged, and my Microsoft Money has none of my information on my bank account. I use this EVERY DAY! I need it to pay bills with! So this is something that I really need to get taken care of. It's as if my computer has restarted itself to the very beginning when we first bought it. It has all of the installed programs but not all of my files are there.
