I'm a computer technician, well in training, but I have come up to a problem that I can't seem to get rid of!
Every single time, windows xp would start, after all the programs in running, I get the error message "A problem with Internet Explorer has occured, the program will need to close" or something along those lines. Well, I've disabled error reporting but it still shows up, I reinstalled Internet Explorer 6, and then tried 7 but the error still keeps popping up, any solutions?

You could try scanning for corrupted XP files. Go to Start, click Run and then type sfc /scannow. You will need an XP CD to do this.

When does this happen?

As all the programs load on startup. I will try this when I start the computer up again. Thanks for the quick reply.

You may want to check for malicious software. Try using an online virus scanner such as Housecall.

You don't have IE start up on purpose, do you?

Try Housecall then, and you may want to post a HijackThis log in the Malware Removal forum just to make sure no malicious software is behind this.
