Is there something wrong with the computer, like it is running slow? If you wish to just make it run as fast as the hardware allows you may want to see "System Building and Overclocking."

Could be partially because your processor isn't all that great. Might consider getting a faster one. Overclocking it would probably solve the problems as well, as long as you know what your doing. Make sure you have adequate cooling if you consider overclocking.
