I went to your help page first and downloaded and ran ewido security suite, clean up, did an online scan, and every other tool available. Even though ewido cleaned 7 viruses, this "install WinAntiSpyware 2005" still popped up. Please help. Here are my logs. Thank you very much for any assistance.

I can't find the vundofix.txt file in the vundofix folder. Thank you for your help in trying to resolve this!!

Just thought I'd add that I did run in Safe Mode but after running Vundo and HiJackThis opened, several of the files on the list were not there to check. Also, when I finished checking the files from the list that were there and hit the key, the computer did not do a "blue screen of death" or even attempt to restart in normal (or any) mode so I had to shut it off and on manually. I'm not sure if this interferred in some way with the fix. Thanks again for your help.

Close all windows other than Hijack This. Check the boxes next to above items and click on Fix checked.

Reboot the PC in Safe Mode.

Delete the file - C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\UWAS5LP_0001_0811NetInstaller.exe

Also delete the link for WinAntiSpyware 2005 on your desktop.

Reboot the PC and post a fresh HJT log.
