I am on a system that is windows 98 based. The network is Novell

I have a new system that is running XP Pro. I got the network and the persons network files but I cannot see the rest of the network.

I have a DOS program that runs on the network and I need this XP machine to access it.

Is there a setting to allow a user to see the whole tree? I created a shortcut for the program and installed the BAT file but it can't find the program on the network.
I tried show hidden files but that only helps in the folders.

Thanks for any help.

on the lighter side...................... how did they come up with the "Novell" name??

perhaps it was from a frustrated Netware user that would constantly scream "NO??HE11!!!!!!!!!!! when he was trying to get Netware to work.......lol

OK it's working now. I had to map the drive for the program. Then change a couple things in how the program was set. Works now.

Thanks again.
