Well I am trying to make movies for online games. I can do all I need to do apart from making the 'ohh so cool' headings. Now im looking for maybe a freeware programe that is easy to use and not to hard. Yes I know all about the Adobe's but I am looking for a free software.

Also, if anybody has any good software for making movies from .avi or .wmv files please feel free to reply.

Hello,

I am not sure exactly what you mean when you say "make a movie from .avi or .wmv files"? Are you talking about creating DVD-compliant mpeg files? Avi and wmv are already video file format containers. Also, what are you talking about when referring to "headings"?

Cheers,
Tom

Well when you watch good movie the titles are nice and big with good effects. When I use my software all I can do is have simple headings. plai read with a plain font.

Yea well some movie makers can only make movies from pictures.

Hello,

I second the recommendation of Windows Movie Maker (included free with Windows XP). It has pretty decent title creation and allows for basic video editing. It is how I started out with video editing. It also has some of the best ending credit creation that I have seen in any program.

Cheers,
Tom
