Retrace the steps you have taken and add ticks to everything Nvidia

Click start then run, type msconfig then press enter then start up, add the ticks there, click apply and reboot

Download the drivers from nvidia

http://www.nvidia.co...ge/drivers.html

Input graphic driver, geforce, xp

You should use add / remove to uninstall the existing one

It may give you the option to change, rather than remove, if so, choose, re-install / repair

This is for uninstall

This is for install, which you can try first

http://www.nvidia.co..._driver_xp.html

You can try system restore if you didn't uninstall anything

No, system restore creates a snapshot of the drive, usually each day, you can re-instate the one immediately before you made the changes

It will work if you have not unistalled any drivers, system restore will not be able to replace files deleted from the drive

Click start, help and support, undo changes to my computer with system restore, restore my computer to an earlier time, choose yesterday if that is before the changes you made

The available restore points are highlighted

You can undo a system restore if it does not help
