After updating Version 3 of AboutBuster from Rubber Ducky, when starting the program, the error message: runtime error 5 invalid procedure call or argument appears.

This error message has nothing to do with a virus or spyware. I completely cleaned up my system before posting this message.

I have searched this board and many others and cannot find an answer. There were many questions re: this same problem and some references to the solution on other boards, but I was unable to find the solution due to the thread was closed, or because the Rubber Ducky web page www.malwarebytes is down

Someone by the name of Mark on this BBS did have the start of an answer on another BBS, but I could not find his thread here.

Thanks for any help.

you need to manually download the reference file. sounds like you are either using a firewall or a proxy. However you are using a really old version. I suggest that you upgrade to 5.0

I did turn off my firewall and downloaded the version 5.0 which I was trying to update to prior.

However, I did have to put the firewall on again, and now when I click on the about buster icon..

I get the runtime error again. I am not trying to access the web - just trying to run the program.
