Hi, I'm very new to all of this (very new as in I don't know anything) and I was wondering if anybody could set me in direction. I know basic stuff about computers and I really want to change that. I'm very interested in learning about programming specially things like flashes or little games, I know these things are waaay too advanced for me. So as a programmer-wannabe how should I start in this "long journey" that stands ahead of me, how should I start?

You could look at web programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Or maybe scripting languages (Perl, PHP, Python)
Or dig right into compiled languages such as Visual Basic or C/C++.

I have read many tutorials over the net andI'm reading books about different languages. You should start like that to. To know the basic of every language visit w3school.com

I would say start with assembly but most people cannot program that so

Try starting with C++ I think it's the best language to start programming with.
