Is it possible to copy video cassettes to DVD on a computer, if so what hardware/software is required/recommended. OS is XP Home 512g RAM

It is possible, I have used several programs - Win DVD, and Roxio. The one problem that I have found is with the ConvertX box, constantly having to uninstall and reinstall. Using Plextor.

if its just a one off tape, you might save yourself a lot of money and get a small production company or freelance videographer to copy it to DVD for you, Id charge AUS$50.00 - $100.00. That way you dont have to pay $2000.00 odd for a computer and software.
