Hello:
I know this is a simple solution probably but I am having a difficult time with a Gateway solo2150. The ethernet plug in the back of the computer acts like it isn't working so I am trying a ethernet card that I have extra. When I install the card it recognizes it but I cannot find a driver that will make it work. I misplaced the origional disk. Any suggestions? I have tryed downloading a few but none seem to work. Not sure why the plug in teh back is not working. Thank you Mark

Take out the card and find the model number on the back of the card, should be something like '3C905B' or similar, and post it here.

None of those are the model number for the Network card. Check it again and write down all the numbers you see written on stickers on the front or back of it and on chips themselves.

Hello Fenor:

There is no such number. What I read is all that is on this card.

and are you sure it's created by 3com because a 3com card should have a number on it that starts with '3C' like I stated before. Is maybe some of the sticker worn or torn off?
