outlook hotmail account acces

All my mail accounts - except hotmail - sweep into my outlook 2002 email client. Is paying microsoft for hotmail access the only way to pick up this account too? Or is there another solution?

Free Hotmail can not be downloaded form the web server to Outlook it is annoying but you can't have to for free any more.

I thought outlook can download hotmail but no other clients can.

there are programs to overcome this difficulty however. just do a google on downloading hotmail messages.

I googled my problem and it came up with a few little programs that made it able to get mail from hotmail into outlook but it couldn't snatch files larger than 20kb.

Thanks for the replies anyway.
