Ifriend of mine has an older dell laptop running Windows 98. It got a bad virus so I formatted the hard drive and everything is smooth except now the display on the screen is about a quarter of the size. I am guessing I need the graphics driver or another driver but since I don't have the original software I don't know what it is or where to find it, hope you can help..

Dell use a "Service Tag" number which should be able to be found on the bottom of your laptop. Using this you should be able to find out which graphics drivers you need from here:
