Hi,
My computer recently got infected with what I presume is the Winfixer virus. Every so often I get an imitation system message informing me of registry errors, and then I am automatically directed to a website for WinFixer which claims to fix them. Also, my internet searches are occasionally rerouted to some fake anti-virus program. Below is my Hijackthis log:

My guess is that the two bad things to take care of are the ssttt.dll and the MSevents object linked to it, but I really don't know that much about computers, so I appeal to the experts.
Thanks a lot,
Kevin

Welcome pilkman to Geeks to Go!

Please print these instructions out for use in Safe Mode.
Please note: your AntiVirus program may prompt you to a malicious program running. Allow the entire script to run.

Please download VundoFix.exe to your desktop.

This list of forums is provided as an example of where to go to obtain help!!
