Hello,

I tried playing a movie rental last night, but my WMP would not play it. It showed an error, something regarding a "digital copyright protection." Then I tried playing the dvd using InterActual Player 2.0, but it also showed an error: "Error PL4014. Playback failed due to an error with the audio subsystem." If anyone could help me out with this matter, I would greatly appreaciate it.

Have you tried to check if it's the dvd causing problems? Get another dvd from somewhere, stick it in and see if it does run.

Get back to me after checking this.

Hello Emery Herman,

Thank you for the prompt reply. I already tried playing another DVD, but I still had the same error messages come up.
