I posted my hijackthis log not too long ago and everything was supposedly fixed. I am not sure but I may have been reinfected or something. I did everything that was advised after the fix but AdAware still shows winfixer.

Hi there 4:20
I don't see any signs of it running on your system.

What exactley is Ad-aware finding ?

Lets have a quick peek at an Ad-aware scan

Before performing a scan, be sure that you have the most recent definitions file by using WebUpdate. (Click on the Globe icon, Click connect, Click OK, Click Finish.) At this current point * SE1R68 28.09.2005* is the most recent definition file.

Ad-Aware SE comes preconfigured with default options so we need you to make only one change. Please deselect "Search for negligible risk entries" as negligible risk entries (MRU's) are not considered to be a threat. This option can be changed when choosing your scan type.
Select "Perform Full System Scan" and press "Next". When the scan has completed, click "Show Logfile".

Please copy/paste the complete log file here using the reply button. Don't quarantine or remove anything at this time, just post a complete logfile. This sometimes takes 2-3 posts to get it all posted. You will know you are at the end when you see the "Summary of this scan" information has been posted.

Slow on start up and while loading programs. About the same speed when I had the winfixer and winantispyware on my computer. Is there nothing showing in my hijackthis report?

nope nothing showing there,
I m about to head off,
But if you could lets have a look at something else
  • Please download RKFiles from HERE
  • Create a new folder called c:\Antispyware\RKFiles
  • Extract the contents of RKFiles.zip into this new RKFiles folder.
  • Reboot into Safe Mode
(Start tapping the F8 key on start up)
  • Open the C:\Antispyware\RKFiles folder
  • Locate and double-click the RKFILES.BAT to run this tool..
  • When it is finished a text file will open..
  • Please copy the contents of the log and paste them here[list]
  • Note: the log with be saved at c:\log.txt
Also
Please click this link to download Silent Runners.
* Save it to the desktop.
* Run Silent Runner's by doubleclicking the "Silent Runners" icon on your desktop.
* You will see a text file appear on the desktop - it's not done yet, just let it run (it won't appear to be doing anything!)
* Once you receive the prompt "All Done!", double-click on the new text file on the desktop and copy that entire log and paste it here.

*NOTE* If you receive any warning message about scripts, please choose to allow the script to run.

I will check back in tomorrow
