in my network connections there is a virtual private network keeps trying to connect to the web. it is using wan miniport (l2tp) to connect.

how do i get rid of this, it wont delete because it is connecting, and it doesnt have the optoin to disable any more.

i dont know if this is some1 hijacking me, but it sounds very dodgy to me.

my adsl keeps cutting off every 5 minutes or so, and i get a message saying a network cable is unplugged.

Hmmm...you have a AOL, Norton and a Dell. I'm going to save myself some aspirin and send you to the malware staff.

That connection is a problem, and needs to be stopped before you go online again. Boot to safe mode (maybe tap F8 at boot) and delete the connection. Keep an eye on it because it may try to start again. The malware staff will tell you how to force it, if necessary.
