Hi!
Gave a friend an older PC unit. He can get online but can't access the web pages.
It doesn't do anything, not even give an error message. He lives in an apartment building and I was wondering if that had anything to do with it.
Thanks for any help:)

Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide (it can be copied to a floppy drive and run from there).

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.

The Hijack This link provided is a verified, well known, safe link. If you're not willing to download and run this tool, I'm afraid we're probably unable to help you : <_<.
