i think the main problem here is just that i don't understand the problem. i've had dial up all my life until recentley i got a laptop, and upgraded to a wireless network. sometimes it just doesnt work tho. i'll have a decent signal, etc etc, and i'll still get error messages like "coulnd not find host..." what's the matter? what can i do?

i have another question. sometimes i'll be... where ever, work, friends house... and i'll get a signal for another network. for some reason the network is always called hpsetup. i'm guessing thats a default name for an un named network or something.. whatever. anyway, i'll connect to the mystery netwok and try to surf the web on it but for some reason it's like my browser doesn't even recognize it... as if my computers off line. how do i browse on a forign network?

any help ould be GREATLY appreciated!
THANKS!
