I have a hotmail email account and I know nothing about computers. The problem is that whenever I try to access my account the 'connection is refused.' I know MSN isn't down because it has been going on for a week and my brother can't access his gmail account. I've tried firefox and internet explorer, there's no difference. I think something is wrong with my computer. Any help?

Which version of Internet Explorer is this (go to Help -> About)? If it's an out-of-date version this can cause this behaviour.

Do other websites work?
