i have heard this problem is very common, i did a search through My Computer to show up everything that has to do with the software i want to uninstall...shall i delete everything that showed up?

or is there a different approach i can try??

Often add/remove programs dose not clean up all the files that belonged to the program, it dose remove it form the regestry though. I often have to delete the left over files.

Maybe you could tell us which program you want to uninstall.

thanks for your help... ive deleted the remaining files that werent automatically deleted from Add/Remove and the problem is solved
