Hi,
I just went thru a lengthy malware removal process with GEEKS. (Thank you very much, OT)
But During this process, I discovered that I can no longer open new windows or click on a link and have it open.
It will open a new window BUT the little earth in the corner goes around and around and the window does not open.
I discovered that if I clicked "stop" in the window I am trying to open and then click "refresh" it will go to that site. If it is a pop up that I need to open...a pop up does come up but nothing ever loads (and there is no stop, refresh that I can open it with.)
The malware expert suggested I go to Internet Exployer 6 Service Pack 1 and download that.
I did.
He also suggested I go to windows update and download any critical updates.
There were none.
The Malware expert said if that didn't work to come to this forum to post. I am still having this problem and would be very grateful if someone could help me. The page I get after hitting the "stop" button is below: (I copied and pasted it here for your viewing:

Thank you for your FAST reply. I didn't have time to get my hijack log on this post before you replied! WOW!
Anyway, so I went to "This Fix". Is the following what I am suppose to do? I have windows 98.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem in Internet Explorer, follow these steps: 1. Quit all programs that are running.
2. Click Start, and then click Run.
3. Type regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click OK.
4. When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message, click OK.
If this does not resolve the problem, repeat steps 2 through 4 for each of the following files (in step 3, replace Urlmon.dll with each of the file names below): • Shdocvw.dll
• Actxprxy.dll
• Oleaut32.dll
• Mshtml.dll
• Browseui.dll
• Shell32.dll

I have tried each of the steps above. They ALL responded with DllRegister Server succeeded EXCEPT for the last one: Shell 32
It's response was:

"Shell32.dll was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer entry point was not found.
DllRegisterServer may not be exported, or a corrupt version of Shell32.dll may be in memory. Consider using PView to detect and remove it."
I do not know what PView is.
I am very novice at fixing these computer problems. Would you help me through it?
