xp wont allow digital camera to transfer pics.

so i have a kodak digital camera, and when i plug it in usb, no matter what usb port i try it brings up a error...new hardware found a problem occured during hardware installation, your hardware might not work properly. Ive installed and updated the software that came with the camera, but nothing seems to be working. Help! oh im running xp pro thanks

Uninstall the software, look to see if the camera should be plugged in before installing the software

There ia a 24 MB Easy Share file for XP

Maybe you can uninstall what you have and then use that

Click the Download button to begin the download process. The page you see after clicking the Download button has a link for pre-installation instructions. Review these instructions before installing the software on your computer.

Windows OS-based computer - select Complete to automatically install all applications. Select Custom to choose the applications you wish to install.
