Here is my situation:

I have a web application running on Windows Server 2003 which pulls data from a database and uses this data to populate a generated excel spreadsheet.

When the web application attempts to launch Excel, an event ID: 1004 and 1015 occurs stating that the ExcelDataUser does not exist in the registry. Since the machine account is not an interactive account, there is not way to log in to the web server and launch excel to create this registry key.

Has anyone encountered this problem before?
