Topic: Sony USB Mouse
Date: 5th Oct-2005

Device Manager showed it as IEEE 1394 Device – What is the connector – USB or IEEE-1394 ? Can you take a another photo of connector so we can see what type it is – I don’t believe that you can force a USB into a FIREWIRE connector – It is either a Firewire or it is wired wrong on Motherboard – or that is photo of [Device Manager] is referring to another problem dealing with a Firewire device - Total Different Issue - Not relative to Mouse - you probably have a External IEEE 1394 Drive or a IEEE 1394 Video Problem also -

Send photo of connector – and take a picture of [DEVICE MANAGER] again but lets look at an expanded view of USB Controllers & photo of the Expanded View of [Mice & Pointing Devices]
