So, i have a virus that i don't know how to get rid of, so i came in here and wanted to post, but before i could post i had go through the proper procedures including installing the windows xp service pack 2. i think a while back myself or my brother tried to install it with Auto Update and for some reason it didn't work. Now with realizing that the update actually has some usefullness i'd like to get it but windows update and automatic update don't work so i haven't updated anything for quite sometime. I looked in almost every help section of microsoft update that's there and i still haven't fixed it. I'm not too sure if anybody needs to see the hijackthis log but i've got no ideas on what to delete and not delete so here goes: (help is appreciated) :tazz:

Hey, I've got a few problems going on right now, i dono if the Log is suposed to help but i don't have any clue what's good or bad in this so any help would be appreciated. When i press ctrl+alt+delete, in processes it usually shows 4 or 5 things of IEXPLORE.EXE, 4 or 5 things of SVCHOST.EXE and a bunch of other garbage that i don't know anything about. Hopefully i can figure some of this stuff out before i go on trying to install SP2.. thank you :tazz:
