Suddenly I cannot open any of my html pages in Frontpage 2000. The files show up in the folder, but when I select one, I just get a blank page with the hour glass locked in permanent position.

Exiting requires 25 closing techniques.

I removed Frontpage and reinstalled with my CD.

Same Problem.

I shut down, restarted, same problem.

I finally called my support from the place where I purchased computer 3 months ago for help.

Was told that I probably have a virus that has attacked my main boot record.

I was told to download Avast to remove it. I did that to no avail.

So then I downloaded AdAware to this computer (which I had in the past), did a full scan, and it deleted a bunch of cookies and adware.

I also downloaded HiJackThis and did a scan and have my log saved.

Would appreciate if someone can steer me on how to delete any trojans or whatever is causing the sluggishness and the failure of Frontpage to operate.

Many thanks,
