I have Windows 98 SE and I was downloading clipart from the internet while I was playing FREECELL to pass the time. The download froze and it messed up my card game. Now I get this message when I try to open it.

FREECELL caused a general protection fault
in module CARDS.DLL at 0001:00000903.

Hi Yoyo12! Welcome to G2G!

What I suggest you do is uninstall FreeCell and then reinstall it. To do this, go to START-->SETTINGS-->CONTROL PANEL. Double click ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS. Click on WINDOWS SETUP, Then highlight ACCESSORIES, then click on DETAILS. Then highlight GAMES and select DETAILS Freecell should be listed.

Use the above procedure to uninstall and reinstall Freecell. If it gives you the option to REPAIR the installation, then do that instead and you then won't have to uninstall and reinstall it.

You can also uninstall it and then get it as an optional download from Windows Update
