(party poker) to make some spending money, which is desperately needed for travelling here. The university uses a proxy server to restrict access to sights like this and other p2p (we even had to redirect aim). Does anyone know of any programs that would allow me to get around this and connect to the poker server? I tried an http tunneling program but apparently that will only work if we wer behind a firewall, not a proxy server. HELP!!!!!!

if you are having problems with a proxy server supplied by your university then you have to ask their it department for help. we cannot help you get around any school internet access blocks or restrictions. they block those sites for a reason. remember if your schools interenet service is free to you, then it is a privelage not a right...so respect their authority.
