A good friend of mine off in college has gotten her computer bogged down, and I wish to help her so I've told her to do one or two things (see below) and then finally to send me a hijack this log.

I asked her to run trendmicro virus scan, and ad-aware; which she told me she did both; then she sent me the log.

Basically things are getting removed but at restart, she says that all the things are coming back.. I'm decent at finding things in msconfig or in task manager, then researching it online and then removing them per instructions found; but this is my first attempt at looking at a hijackthis log; which I'm using http://hometown.aol....al/tutorial.htm for instructions.

However, I don't want to screw up - and I can't go through her computer seeing as she's in Illinois and I'm in Tennessee.

If anyone could give any help, I just want to make sure I don't screw up her comp =)
