I' m trying to burn music to a disk. My CD player is unable to interpret the files. I'm currently running windows 98. I'm using a program which requires a Windows media format file, but it can only be installed on windows 98 second edition. Can anyone tell me where I can get an update, or donwload for free the windows 98 second edition? Or, do you have any other suggestions? Thanks for all your help!

It isn't possible to download 98SE legally

You should be able to find a copy of 98SE quite cheaply

What is the file extension of the file you are trying to play
