:tazz: I have followed the very helpful guidance, but when I try to use HiJack to delete the iSearch entries in the log, the log blanks completely and when I rerun HiJack, the iSearch entries still exist. All other check entries were deleted so I assume iSearch has found a loophole in HiJack ?? Help please this iSearch rubbish is very frustrating. Thanks - Log below

Welcome to GTG Kismet01. iSearch is being regenerated by files this folder:
C:\WINDOWS\isrvs\

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.
O2 - BHO: BTGrabObj Class - {00000000-F09C-02B4-6EC2-AD0300000000} - C:\WINDOWS\BTGrab.dll
O2 - BHO: myBar BHO - {0494D0D1-F8E0-41ad-92A3-14154ECE70AC} - C:\Program Files\MyWay\myBar\1.bin\MYBAR.DLL (file missing)
O2 - BHO: IE Update Class - {5B4AB8E2-6DC5-477A-B637-BF3C1A2E5993} - C:\WINDOWS\isrvs\sysupd.dll
O2 - BHO: Norton Internet Security - {9ECB9560-04F9-4bbc-943D-298DDF1699E1} - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\AdBlocking\NISShExt.dll (file missing)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Desktop Search] C:\WINDOWS\isrvs\desktop.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ffis] C:\WINDOWS\isrvs\ffisearch.exe
O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {CD67F990-D8E9-11d2-98FE-00C0F0318AFE} - (no file)
O18 - Filter: text/html - {950238FB-C706-4791-8674-4D429F85897E} - C:\WINDOWS\isrvs\mfiltis.dll

Please reboot into safe mode (continually tap the F8 key while your system is starting, select Safe Mode from the menu).
Be sure you're able to view hidden files, and remove the following files in bold (if found):
C:\WINDOWS\BTGrab.dll
C:\Program Files\MyWay <- this folder
C:\WINDOWS\isrvs <- this folder

Reboot your PC.

If you would please, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log in this same topic, and let us know how your system's working. :tazz:

I am afraid iSearch is proving difficult to delete. It will not disappear when checked in HiJack and also I cannot delete c:\windows\isrvs directory. I have even tried downloading MoveOnBoot but that has failed to delete it.

Any help gratefully received. This iSearch is a devious unwanted piece of rubbish :tazz:
