My computer has recently become very very slow at loading pages on internet and opening up programs. It will take a long time to load a page or will not load at all.
I have checked the modem it is running ok. I ahve emptied all temporary internet files. It a fairly new computer so there is enough memeory. What can I do to correct this problem.

First run Spybot Search & Destroy (Here's a nice Spybot Tutorial).

Then, it might help if we can see what's running on your PC. Download this and install. Run a scan with Hijack This. Most of the files listed will be harmless and/or required so do not make any changes, just click on Save Log, copy it and post it back in this thread.

My guess is you have spyware or some other program loading at startup that is causing the problem.
