Hello,

While Nero is definitely the best CD/DVD burning package in my opinion, there is a very good freeware option called "CDBurnerXP" and you can check it out at the link below. I have found it more than adequate for most CD burning tasks and I thought it's music CD creation functionality very easy to use and prefer it over the Nero way of doing it.

yay. cdburnerxp is great. realplayer is just a stream player for playing media over the web. and dvd-r's are great for burning pics and music, if you just need the extra storage. ie: they won't play right in a dvd player. cd's are good but they often don't have the capacity for something like 3gb of music you want to store away for a while.
