someone has been constantly bombarding my girfriend with with horrible explicit messages on her personal website's guestbook we now have the I.P address of said person now is it possible to at least find out their identity using the ip in any many ... im not interested in hacking ...just want to know who this person is because with the things they have been saying they are clearly local to my area

You are unlikely to get a persons name from the information you have

You can report it, usually to abuse@ and they will take the necessary action, though if they do not you can then report them
